Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) from Connecting Point Computer Center is a fully managed security solution designed to protect your network, users, and business-critical data. Instead of relying on aging hardware or handling firewall management in-house, FWaaS delivers enterprise-grade protection, proactive monitoring, and continuous maintenance—ensuring your environment remains secure, updated, and optimized at all times.
This service simplifies network security by providing a high-performance firewall appliance, professional management, and full support wrapped in a predictable, subscription-based model.
Each Client receives a new firewall as agreed upon by the Client and Connecting Point Computer Center. This ensures that every deployment is based on the appropriate level of performance, features, and scalability needed for the Client’s business.

Service Level Agreement
Connecting Point Computer Center provides full maintenance during regular business hours (8:00am to 5:00pm), Monday through Friday, with a 2-hour Service Level Agreement (SLA), unless otherwise specified. This agreement covers all hardware and includes unlimited labor for help desk support, onsite service, mileage, onsite fees, and remote assistance. By bundling every support component, the Client receives comprehensive coverage with no unexpected charges for labor or travel.

Full Maintenance and Support
The firewall is monitored 24x7x365 through automated tools designed to detect outages, threats, or abnormal behavior.
Any issues identified will be reviewed and addressed by a Connecting Point engineer during normal business hours.
For Clients who require coverage outside normal business hours, an Emergency Dispatch Service is available as an optional add-on, ensuring support is always accessible when needed.

24x7x365 Monitoring
Router and firewall firmware updates are actively managed by Connecting Point. Critical security updates will be applied immediately to maintain protection against emerging threats.
Non-critical updates and performance enhancements will be completed on a quarterly schedule, ensuring systems remain current without disrupting business operations.
