May 2025 Jeans Day Donation - Giving to LaSalle County CASA
Nathan Blauvelt from Connecting Point & Alexandria Warmhott, Executive Director of CASAAt Connecting Point Computer Center, community giving is stitched into the fabric of who we are. Each month, our team selects a local nonprofit organization to support through our Jeans Day Friday initiative—a simple but meaningful way to give back.
For May 2025, we’re proud to support LaSalle County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). This remarkable organization trains and empowers volunteers. They advocate for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are navigating the court system. Their mission ensures that every child has a voice and someone in their corner during the most difficult times.
For our monthly tradition, our employees are invited to wear jeans on Fridays in exchange for a donation to the selected nonprofit. These casual Fridays are laid-back, but they’re full of heart. Every contribution—no matter the size— makes a difference.
❤️ Why CASA?
LaSalle County CASA gives hope and stability to children in foster care by pairing them with trained advocates who stay by their side throughout their case. These advocates are often the only constant in a child’s life, providing support, compassion, and a voice that helps shape a brighter future.
We believe in their mission and are honored to help amplify their efforts.
